Description (M Series, MX Series, and T Series routers only) Configure load balancing based on Layer 2<br />

media access control information. On M120 and M320 routers only, configure VPLS load<br />

balancing based on MPLS labels and IP information. On MX Series routers, configure<br />

VPLS load balancing.<br />

Options<br />

destination-mac—Include the destination-address MAC information in the hash key.<br />

source-mac—Include the source-address MAC information in the hash key.<br />

label-1 (M120 and M320 routers only)—Include the first MPLS label in the hash key.<br />

label-2 (M120 and M320 routers only)—Include the second MPLS label in the hash key.<br />

payload (MX Series, M120, and M320 routers only)—Include the packets’ IP payload in<br />

the hash key<br />

ip (MX Series, M120, and M320 routers only)—Include the IP address of the IPv4 or IPv6<br />

payload in the hash key.<br />

layer-3-only (M120, and M320 routers only)—Include only the Layer 3 information from<br />

the packets’ IP payload in the hash key.<br />

layer-3 (MX Series routers only)—Include Layer 3 information from the packets’ IP payload<br />

in the hash key.<br />
