On her part, Sheikha Jassim Al Thani Head
of Qatarization, Training, and Development
Section said, “the signature of the contracts in
QCF is part of HR methodology” adding “we
are committed to employ the qualified Qatari
cadres in all fields.” Al-Thani stressed the importance
of meeting the requirements of the
target job. “KAHRAMAA different departments

training opportunities as the career development
plans play great role in employee development
in order to efficiently assume responsibilities.”

and Development adding that The Quality
management system of the Qatarization, Training,
and Development Section copes with BS
ISO 10015:1999 Guidelines for Training in the
scope of training, development and education
for KAHRAMAA employees through IDP.
Each employee has a clear training plan for
the individual and career development as per
employee specifications and education. The
plan includes training courses for the capacity
building and development of employees by attaching
them to international companies and
on the job training.
Expectations for bright future
Fatima Al-Merri, who signed a scholarship contract
with KAHRAMAA said, “joining KAH-
RAMAA gives me great honor, I am so proud

today” adding that I applied a scholarship application
at KAHRAMAA booth where I was so
pleased to receive an immediate approval during
QCF. They advised me to study international
relations in UK. “I hope to serve KAHRAMAA
through this program.” said Al-Merri.
Hamad Ali Al-Korbi was selected within
KAHRAMAA scholarship program. He said,
“joining KAHRAMAA is great. I will do my best
in my study of electric engineering in Liverpool
University – UK”. Al-Korbi extended gratitude
to KAHRMAA officials for providing this opportunity
adding that the scholarship program
is one of the best programs in the State. It is
meant for the high quality qualification and capacity
building of students expected to assume
technical and administrative jobs in KAH-
RAMAA. It should encourage Qatari youth to
involve in scientific specifications in a way increases
the number of professional Qataris in
KAHRAMAA. “I hope I am on the successful
track,” said Al-Korbi.
Khalid Ahmed Al-Naimi signed an employment
contract as Water Project Engineer. He
said, ”it my pleasure to join this leading Qatari
corporation. I am so glad to assume a new job
in my major; mechanical engineering. I am
a graduate of Faculty of Engineering – Qatar
University and I will work at Water Projects
Department. I recognize the vital role KAHRA-
MAA plays in the economic and urban development
the State of Qatar witnesses and I have
heard about the huge storage capacity project
KAHRAMAA implements by the construction
of giant reservoirs in order to ensure Qatar
needs of water for seven days. It is one of the
greatest projects in this field.
“I am really proud of joining this corporation
and I hope to achieve administrative and technical
development in my new job” said Al-Naimi.
