and in its cooperation<br />
with State corporations for the activation<br />
of electricity and water conservation, The<br />
Customer Relations Section, Public Relations<br />
Department (PR) held the first meeting of<br />
KAHRAMAA Friends Club (KMFC) for year<br />
2010/2011 in KAHRAMAA headquarters.<br />
The meeting was attended by Customer Relations<br />
Officers Mrs. Somaya Al-Mutawa and<br />
Mrs. Aisha Al-Mutawaa along with school<br />
coordinators, Mrs.Dhahabia Al-Nuaimi, Um<br />
Al- Amad preliminary independent school for<br />
girls, Mrs. Badria Al-Kubaisi and Mrs. Faten,<br />
Al-Markhiya preliminary independent school<br />
for girls, Mrs. Zainab, Qatar Preparatory independent<br />
school for girls, Mrs. Nada Al-Hajiri,<br />

Al-Wajba Preparatory independent school for<br />
girls, Mrs. Hessa Al-Maraghi and Mrs. Laila<br />
Al-Saadi, Omar bin Al-Khattab preliminary<br />
independent school for boys, and Mrs Baraka<br />
Al-Merri, Ali bin Abdullah independent model<br />
school for boys.<br />
At the beginning of the meeting, KAHRA-<br />
MAA representatives welcomed all attendants<br />
then they reviewed the meeting main issues in<br />
addition to activities and programs implemented<br />
by the participating schools. The meeting<br />
discussed the awareness plans, programs, and<br />
activities and ways of activating conservation<br />
behavior proposed by some groups in close cooperation<br />
with Customer Relations Section.<br />
The meeting touched upon the activities<br />
and programs suggested to be implemented in<br />
World Water Day (WWD) GCC and Arab Water<br />
Week coincide 22nd March.<br />
Mrs Somaya Al-Mutawa emphasized the importance<br />
of activating KMFC groups in order to<br />
create a communication link between students<br />
and Customer Relations Section, the founder of<br />
KMFC. It is meant to develop and disseminate<br />
awareness ideas in a corporative way deeply<br />
roots the principle of conservation in school<br />
students. “the Public Relations Department<br />
plan on KMCF groups has a strategic objective<br />
for the future generations” she clarified.<br />
On her part, Mrs. Aisha Al-Mutawaa stressed<br />
the significance of developing and introducing<br />
awareness programs in order to encourage students<br />
to disseminate electricity and water conservation.<br />
At the end of the meeting, participants<br />
agreed on the recommendations on proposals<br />
and activities to be implemented in the next<br />
period including Qatora and Kahrob magazine<br />
planned to be produced by the students themselves.<br />

meetings.
