2.4 Mounting NOTE You will find all wiring schemes and plans of terminal connections in EC service manual. 2.4.1 Mounting the Lamphouse screws one of the lateral doors • Remove lateral doors of lamphouse by releasing both screws on the top. Then pull away the doors. • Remove the four nuts which are on the screws. • Place lamphouse on the four screws which show out of projector housing. Figure 2-3 Lamphouse • Fasten lamphouse from the inner side of projector with the four nuts. • Thread connection wires from the terminal strip in terminal box (lower arrow) through the cable tube (upper arrow) to the lamphouse. FP 30 EC II / FP 38 EC II 2.4.1.1 Connecting the Cables Connect cable with terminal strip (arrow). The wires in cable are labelled corresponding to the terminals. Figure 2-5 Connecting cables 2.4.1.2 Connecting the DC Wires • Connect the positive red cable to the lower bolt of ferrite core (black arrow). • Connect the negative black cable to the lower bolt of ferrite core (white arrow). • Mark the ends (at ferrite core and rectifier) of the positive and negative cable with a blue and a red tape. Figure 2-6 Connecting DC wires ATTENTION • Connecting the cable is to be carried out by a competent electrician only. • If you connect a 110 V lamphouse with a 110 V projector you must not connect mains current from projector to lamphouse. You have to connect mains current of projector and lamphouse separately.
