PIA Products
The Parachute Industry Association has funded a
number of products in the interest of parachuting
safety. Products are available to both member firms
and others. The PIA Store is operated by Dan
Poynter, D-454.
Malfunction Photosraphs
A set of seven full-color photographic prints
measuring II" x 17" (28 x 43 cm). These
malfunction photographs are all taken from the
point of view of the jumper (looking up). They are
designed to be mounted on cardboard and used in
the first jump course: Hold them over the student in
the suspended harness to prompt the appropriate
emergency procedure. The photographs show abag
lock, line over, end cell closure, line twists, slider
hang up, etc. A must for every skydiving school.

slide format. Slides may be used in the malfunction
