2008, 2009 applications for EIB financing of road projects
In the years 2008 and 2009 (up to date), the EIB has received a quite large number of loan
applications for road projects from many countries (EU member states, EU candidate countries,
potential EU candidate countries, and non-EU countries). Most of these projects are motorway
development projects, while a considerable number of them are PPP projects. Table 2 presents
the main data for 15 such projects.
