Bachelor of ENGINEERING<br />
<strong>RMIT</strong> is proud to be able to provide advance notice of its<br />
intention to introduce Engineering at an undergraduate level<br />
in <strong>Vietnam</strong>. Designed with a common set of courses in the<br />
initial semesters that will provide a base for all engineering<br />
study, you will be given the opportunity to progress your<br />
study in one of several disciplines of engineering offered by<br />
<strong>RMIT</strong> in <strong>Vietnam</strong>, Australia or other international locations of<br />
the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
In <strong>Vietnam</strong><br />
<strong>RMIT</strong> <strong>Vietnam</strong> will commence by offering the core program<br />
enabling students then to choose their specialist field of<br />
engineering and pursue their stream of study either in<br />
<strong>Vietnam</strong> or overseas. Initially, the stream of Electrical and<br />
Electronic Engineering will be offered at <strong>RMIT</strong> <strong>Vietnam</strong> with<br />
other streams to follow.<br />
As an electrical and electronic engineer you will design,<br />
develop, implement, manufacture, apply and maintain a<br />
variety of electrical and electronic devices, circuits and<br />
systems. You will also work on systems for electric power<br />
generation, distribution, utilisation and control as well as<br />
on electronic systems for computing, communications,<br />
industrial automation and other applications.<br />
Employment opportunities include, but are not limited<br />
to, the fields of: electronic circuit and system design and<br />
manufacturing; sensors; computer system integration<br />
and application; renewable energy; power generation and<br />
distribution; industrial automation and transportation; and<br />
data acquisition and analysis. You may also choose to<br />
work in electronics, communication, defence, or aerospace<br />
manufacturing. You can also enter many other industries<br />
such as entertainment, medicine, education and research.<br />

<strong>RMIT</strong> Melbourne offers a range of specialised fields such<br />
as: Aerospace engineering and aviation; Automotive<br />
and mechanical engineering; Biomedical engineering;<br />
Chemical and biochemical engineering; Civil engineering;<br />
Environmental engineering as well as a number of others.<br />

Students who choose to exit the program at the end of the<br />
core program will achieve an Associate Degree award ( * ) .<br />
Graduates at this level will have broad knowledge in the field<br />
of engineering and the skills for highly skilled work or further<br />

Cử nhân Kỹ thuật<br />
Đại học <strong>RMIT</strong> Việt Nam dự định sẽ bắt đầu giảng dạy<br />
chuyên ngành Kỹ thuật ở bậc Đại học trong thời gian<br />
sắp tới. Được thiết kế với cấu trúc gồm những môn học<br />
chuyên ngành căn bản về kỹ thuật trong những học<br />
kỳ đầu tiên, sinh viên có thể lựa chọn những hướng đi<br />
chuyên ngàng trong lĩnh vực kỹ thuật được giảng dạy tại<br />
Việt Nam, Úc, hay những cơ sở quốc tế khác của<br />
Đại học <strong>RMIT</strong>.<br />
Tại Việt Nam<br />
<strong>RMIT</strong> Việt Nam sẽ bắt đầu đưa vào giảng dạy phần căn bản<br />
của chương trình Cử nhân Kỹ thuật để sinh viên sau đó có<br />
thể chọn lựa những hướng đi chuyên sâu tại Việt Nam hay<br />
tại Úc. Chuyên ngành Kỹ thuật Điện và Điện tử sẽ là chuyên<br />
ngành đầu tiên được giảng dạy tại <strong>RMIT</strong> Việt Nam. Những<br />
chuyên ngành khác sẽ được tiếp tục đưa vào giảng dạy<br />
trong tương lai.<br />
Trở thành sinh viên Kỹ thuật Điện và Điện tử, bạn sẽ thiết<br />
kế, phát triển, sản xuất, ứng dụng cũng như bảo trì những<br />
thiết bị điện và điện tử đa dạng, hệ thống mạch điện và<br />
các hệ thống kỹ thuật khác. Bạn sẽ làm việc trên hệ thống<br />
tạo điện, phân phối, sử dụng và quản lý cũng như những<br />
hệ thống máy tính, truyền thông, tự động hoá, và những<br />
ứng dụng khác.<br />
Cơ hội nghề nghiệp của bạn được tìm thấy trong rất nhiều<br />
lĩnh vực khác nhau, bao gồm: mạch điện điện tử, thiết kế<br />
và sản xuất hệ thống, bộ cảm ứng, ứng dụng hệ thống máy<br />
tính, năng lượng tái sinh, tạo và phân phối điện lực, tự động<br />
hoá và vận tải, thu thập và phân tích dữ liệu. Bạn cũng có<br />
thể chọn làm việc trong lĩnh vực điện tử, truyền thông, quốc<br />
phòng, sản xuất máy bay, hay tìm kiếm cơ hội trong ngành<br />
giải trí, dược, giáo dục, và nghiên cứu.<br />

Tại Melbourne, Úc<br />
Đại học <strong>RMIT</strong> Melbourne giảng dạy rất nhiều chuyên ngành<br />
kỹ thuật bao gồm: Kỹ thuật Hàng không và Vũ trụ, Kỹ thuật<br />
Cơ khí và Máy tự động, Kỹ thuật Y Sinh học, Kỹ thuật Hoá<br />
học và Sinh hoá học, Kỹ thuật Dân dụng, Kỹ thuật Môi<br />
trường, và rất nhiều ngành khác.<br />

Sinh viên lựa chọn kết thúc chương trình sau khi hoàn<br />
thành những môn học căn bản kỹ thuật sẽ được nhận Bằng<br />

rộng trong lĩnh vực kỹ thuật và các kỹ năng cần thiết để làm<br />
việc hoặc tiếp tục học chuyên sâu.<br />
