Fuel Filling Cap
FUEL FILLING CAP :
The fuel filler cap is located on the left rear side of the car. The fuel filler
lid can be unlocked by pulling the opening lever located on the outboard
side of the driver's seat and locked by simply closing the lid.
Remove the fuel filler cap slowly. The fuel may be under
pressure & may spray out, causing injury if the cap is opened
suddenly.
The fuel cap for the petrol version is of the non vented type
while in the diesel version it is vented. They should not be
interchanged during replacement.
• To remove the fuel filler cap turn the cap anti-clockwise. Turn the
cap slowly to allow any residual pressure to escape.
• To install turn the cap clockwise till a click sound is heard.

For car with petrol engine :
Petrol is extremely flammable. Do not smoke when refuelling and make
sure there are no open flames or sparks nearby.
If you need to replace the fuel cap, use only a cap specified for your
car. Using an improper fuel cap can cause a serious malfunctioning of
the fuel system. You can get the correct replacement from an
Authorised Service outlet.
