Accessibility and Street Layout Exploring spatial equity in

Street network in Rågsved is almost irregular and hard to grasp and describe. Generally
speaking the street network displays a cellular-tributary character. At the level of
neighbourhood two big cells in south and north of the subway station can be identified
which the northern even extended to Hagsätra. From these cells local access
streets branch inward and outward to approach parking lots and building entrances.
The space remained between streets is accessible by pedestrian routes. Rågved shows
similitude with preceded cases in having peripheral vehicular access and pedestrian
access connecting housing blocks to the centrum from inside. In terms of housing
layout and typology Rågsved features a great diversity which creates a very irregular
spatial organization. We can find 3 story attached apartment houses, 9 story and 14
story point blocks and 6 story slab blocks. Housing blocks are grouped in different
manners. Some aligned with adjacent street, number of them shaping an enclosed
communal space with free geometrical form and number of point block grouped in
line or a star shape.
