Thereby a network of short lines has been generated where the diverse geometries of housing enclaves have portrayed the area as an irregular spatial organization. Route analysis of Rågsved Applying Route Analysis to Rågsved has generated a model comprises 49 routes which are classified by 19 different route types (Figure 5.11). Following the principals of route analysis, Rågsvedvägen is assigned as datum of the network. On the next level 4 routes connect subsidiary streets with the datum and subsequently take the depth value of 2. Route 1.1 is the most continuous and connective among them having a degree of 9 for continuity and 12 for connectivity. In the northern part the route 1.3 plays the main role in connecting other routes with the network. Since in the north the network merges with the network of Hagsätra, the neighbourhood boundary is ambiguous whereas in the southern part it is clearly separated from the surroundings. For instance route 1.2 extends between the two neighbourhoods. Thus it could have different properties if it is examined in a larger context. But since the framework of the study is set to Rågsved, it makes no big difference to consider the whole route instead of the part located within the neighbourhood. Table 5.1. As we can see this network gains low degrees of continuity and connectivity and a high degree of depth, conforming to the other cases. Although a detailed comparison reveals that Rågsved has more similarities to Bredäng in some of properties such as regularity, recursivity and complexity. In particular, it shows the highest degree of irregularity among the three case studies. 56
