General information Contacts Guide Manual mode (MAN) In MAN mode the printer does not run commands from outside (SYNC 24) and enables access to the Operate menu. To enter the Set-up menu: 1. Make sure that printer is in MAN position 2. Press the key From this window the printer can be managed completely manually: • Service position Positions the carriage in the “service” zone, where the ribbon can be changedandtheheadcanbecleaned • Ribbon position Tensions thermal ribbon by rewinding it • Test print Runs a test print • Printer Parameters [see following pages] • Label parameters Checks dimensions, type of reprocessing, photocell threshold and space between labels • Print shift adjustment Adjusts shift of print image from set value • File management [see following pages] • Diagnosis [see maintenance manual] • Carriage position Repositions carriage onhomesensor Swing 5.i – Switching on printer 18
