Beerwah <strong>Aquatic</strong> Centre, Roberts Road, Beerwah (council owned)<br />
The Beerwah <strong>Aquatic</strong> Centre is located within a growing major activity area of the <strong>Sunshine</strong> <strong>Coast</strong><br />
and is bordered by a large multi sports ground and high school. Currently the facility operates<br />
under a management agreement which is in place until July 2013.<br />
The facility features a 25 metre lap pool, toddler leisure pool, program pool, amenities block, kiosk<br />
and first aid room.<br />
Assessment<br />
Based on a 10 kilometre population catchment area for this facility the catchment population as at<br />
the 2006 census is estimated to be 13,494 persons. A feasibility study is currently being drafted to<br />
assess the future requirements for this facility.<br />
