Tewantin Wading Pool, Parkyn Court, Tewantin (council owned)
Tewantin Wading Pool is located on the Noosa River foreshore adjacent to the Noosa Marina,
Tewantin boat ramp and car park, and is within walking distance to the Tewantin town centre.
Council currently maintain this free entry facility with no on-site staff presence.
This facility features a shallow depth wading pool, picnic tables and is adjacent to an amenities
block which also houses the pool plant.
Assessment
Based on the findings of a recent facility audit, council should consider redeveloping this facility
into a more contemporary toddler leisure water park, or similar, in keeping with the amenity and
character of the local area.
