A straightedge is extremely useful for setting<br />
up machines such as planers and jointers.<br />
We offer two types. Both are wide enough<br />
to stand on edge unsupported, so you have<br />
both hands free to make precise adjustments.<br />
Our anodised aluminium straightedges<br />
are 1-3/4” high and 7/16” wide, and will<br />
not rust. The reference edge is machined flat<br />
to within 0.003” over the entire length. Where<br />
extreme accuracy is needed, our solid steel<br />
bar has both edges precision ground flat to<br />
within 0.001” over the entire length.<br />
