Alcohol: 43%/vol This Armagnac is made of a blend of three different eaux de vie from three different vintages. Easy to drink, it has fruity aromas with woody notes. The wine, low on alcohol, is distilled very quickly after the end of the fermentation process in a traditional Armagnac still and on a low degree of alcohol (54%) to keep the maximum of aromas. Food matching As an aperitif: Tasting with ice, still or sparkling water is another way to try a young Armagnac. It can also be served as a cocktail with tangerine or lemon. The story of cognac begins, oddly enough, with spoiled wine. The French people of Cognac found a solution by distilling the wine twice and then aged it in oak barrels. Tremendously smooth and mellow, it became known as cognac. The Abecassis family produces one of the finest cognacs.
