Then, the nose opens up on intense aromas of summer flowers with a beautiful depth. As would imply its nose, the palate is full, the attack is large and the structure of a great regularity. Beaujolais The gamay grape reigns in the picturesque wine growing area of Beaujolais in the north-west of Lyon. Granite, sandy soils and uncrushed berries largely fermented in carbonic maceration give Beaujolais its characteristic juiciness. Set around the foot of Mont Brouilly, Château de Blaceret Roy is a familyowned estate whose oldest buildings date from 1684, spreading ever 30 hectares in the heart of Beaujolais region.
