77.34 Hpljii<br />

The hpljii terminal driver supports the HP Laserjet Series II printer. The hpdj driver supports the HP<br />

DeskJet 500 printer. These drivers allow a choice of resolutions.<br />

Syntax:<br />

set terminal hpljii | hpdj {}<br />

where res may be 75, 100, 150 or 300 dots per inch; the default is 75.<br />

resolutions may require a large amount of memory.<br />

Rasterization at the higher<br />

The hp500c terminal is similar to hpdj; hp500c additionally supports color and compression.<br />

77.35 Hppj<br />

The hppj terminal driver supports the HP PaintJet and HP3630 printers. The only option is the choice<br />

of font.<br />

Syntax:<br />

set terminal hppj {FNT5X9 | FNT9X17 | FNT13X25}<br />

with the middle-sized font (FNT9X17) being the default.<br />

77.36 Imagen<br />

The imagen terminal driver supports Imagen laser printers. It is capable of placing multiple graphs on<br />

a single page.<br />

Syntax:<br />

set terminal imagen {} {portrait | landscape}<br />

{[,]}<br />

where fontsize defaults to 12 points and the layout defaults to landscape. and are<br />

the number of graphs in the horizontal and vertical directions; these default to unity.<br />

Example:<br />

set terminal imagen portrait [2,3]<br />

puts six graphs on the page in three rows of two in portrait orientation.<br />

77.37 Jpeg<br />

Syntax:<br />

set terminal jpeg<br />

{{no}interlace}<br />

{tiny | small | medium | large | giant}<br />

{font {}}<br />

{size ,} {{no}crop}<br />

{{no}enhanced}<br />

{ ...}<br />

JPEG images are created using libgd, with optional support for TrueType fonts via libfreetype.<br />

The interlace option creates a progressive JPEG image. Default is nointerlace.<br />

Five basic fonts are supported directly by the gd library. These are tiny (5x8 pixels), small (6x12<br />

pixels), medium, (7x13 Bold), large (8x16) or giant (9x15 pixels). These fonts cannot be scaled or<br />

rotated (pure horizontal or vertical text only).<br />

If <strong>gnuplot</strong> was built with support for TrueType (*.ttf) or Adobe Type 1 (*.pfa) fonts, they may be<br />

selected using the ’font {}’ option. is either the full pathname to the font
