In addition, we have liaised with Stephanie Lane <strong>of</strong> PhRMA as the s<strong>in</strong>gle po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>of</strong> contact for the<br />

duration <strong>of</strong> the project. We would like to thank Stephanie for her support and advice dur<strong>in</strong>g the<br />

project.<br />

4.3 Deliverables<br />

<strong>The</strong> F<strong>in</strong>al Report is <strong>in</strong>tended to enable PhRMA to:<br />

(1) develop its public policy positions with<strong>in</strong> a credible framework relat<strong>in</strong>g any potential use <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>HTA</strong> proposed by payers to the evolution <strong>of</strong> health care systems;<br />

(2) develop an appropriate response with<strong>in</strong> this framework to engage and shape <strong>HTA</strong> when it is<br />

put forward by a payer <strong>in</strong> these three countries; and<br />

(3) beg<strong>in</strong> to build a network <strong>of</strong> contacts with<strong>in</strong> the three countries to help take its approach<br />

forward.<br />

In addition, as set out <strong>in</strong> the proposal, we will produce a Work<strong>in</strong>g Paper based on sections 4, 5, and 6<br />

<strong>of</strong> this Report which could be put <strong>in</strong> the public doma<strong>in</strong>. No material relat<strong>in</strong>g to possible PhRMA<br />

policy options would be <strong>in</strong>cluded <strong>in</strong> any Work<strong>in</strong>g Paper.<br />
