TÜRSAB-FTAV İşbirliği Protokolü
TÜRSAB, 16-19 Mayıs 2013 tarihleri arasında Tunus’a 65 kişilik bir heyet ile inceleme
gezisi düzenledi. TÜRSAB Başkanı Başaran Ulusoy başkanlığında düzenlenen geziye,
TÜRSAB II. Başkanı Firuz Bağlıkaya, TÜRSAB Yönetim Kurulu Üyeleri Hikmet Selçuk,
Muammer Güner ve Sinan Haliç, TÜRSAB Başkan Danışmanları Çetin Gürcün ve
Yusuf Duru, TÜRSAB Konya Bölgesel Yürütme Kurulu Başkanı Mustafa Ulu, TÜRSAB
Adana Bölgesel Yürütme Kurulu Başkanı Nesrin Göçhan, TÜRSAB Kuşadası Bölgesel
Yürütme Kurulu Başkanı Fahrettin Çiçek, TURSAV Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi Davut
Günaydın, Tunus ile outgoing bazında çalışan seyahat acentaları ve medya temsilcileri
katıldı. Gezinin ikinci gününde ise TÜRSAB ve FTAV (Tunus Seyahat Acentaları Birliği)
arasında bir işbirliği protokolü imzalandı. Toplantıya katılan Tunus Turizm Bakanı Cemal
Gambra şunları söyledi: “Bu süreçte imzaladığımız bu anlaşma önemli bir rol oynuyor.
İşbirliği fırsatlarının iki ülke için de çok önem teşkil ettiğine inanıyorum” dedi. TÜRSAB
Başkanı Başaran Ulusoy, “Türkiye’nin en önemli acente temsilcileri ve Tunus’la çalışacak
arkadaşlarımla beraber geldim. Gezmeye değil, dostluğumuzu sağlamlaştırmaya geldik.
Tunus’a her zaman yardım etmeye hazırız. Dostluk için buradayız, olmaya da devam
edeceğiz” dedi.
A COOPORATION PROTOCOL BETWEEN TÜRSAB-FTAV
With a commission of 65 people, TÜRSAB made a study tour in Tunisia between 16-19
May 2013. This study trip, presided by Başaran Ulusoy, the president of TÜRSAB,
included the following participants: Firuz Bağlıkaya, Vice President of TÜRSAB; Hikmet
Selçuk, Muammer Gün and Sinan Haliç, the board members; Çetin Gürcün and Yusuf
Duru, the president advisors of TÜRSAB, Mustafa Ulu, President of TÜRSAB Konya
Regional Executive Board; Nesrin Göçhan President of TÜRSAB Adana, Regional
Executive Board, Fahrettin Çiçek President of TÜRSAB Kuşadası, Regional Executive
Board; Davut Günaydın, the board member of Tursav and travel agencies working based
on outgoing and media representatives.
A cooperation protocol was signed between TÜRSAB and FTAV (Federation of Tourism
Agencies in Tunisia). Cemal Gambra, Tunisia’s Tourism Minister who participated in the
meeting, said, “This agreement we signed within this period plays an important role. I
believe that cooperation opportunities are very important for both countries.” Başaran
Ulusoy, the president of TÜRSAB, said, “I came here with the most prominent agency
representatives of Turkey and our friends who are likely to work with Tunisia. We are
always ready to assist Tunisia. We are here for friendship and will continue to be.”

Hammamet Tourism Paradise
Renowned for its beaches, Hammamet is one of the leading cities to which sun
and sea seekers pay much attention. Authorities sensitive about city planning
don’t allow any edifice to be built if it would surpass the height of the cypress. In
1926, George Sebastian, a Romanian millionaire, after having fallen in love with
Hammamet beaches, built “Villa Sebastian” here.
This villa in which Winston Churchill lived for a short period and penned his
memoirs at the end of the World War II is used as a culture centre in our day.
