American, mid-19th century. Hunting dog with very good detail and
old black repaint. Tail may have old soldered repair. Rectangular base.
29 1/2”h. 48”l.
This dog was cast at the Gray Iron Foundry in Poultney, Vermont
ca. 1835-1850.
