In 2005, our incentive payouts totaled $1.1 billion for both EB and ECBP, up 37% from 2004. The following<br />

As of February 24, 2006, <strong>Intel</strong>’s executive officers, directors and director emeritus as a group owned<br />

3.5% of <strong>Intel</strong>’s outstanding common stock.<br />

More than 71% of our employees participate in <strong>Intel</strong>’s Stock Purchase Plan.<br />

<strong>Intel</strong>’s contribution to the Sheltered Employee Retirement Program (SERP) and 401(k) was once again 8%<br />

of annual base pay for each employee.<br />

Total spending on retiree benefits in 2005 was $5.3 million.<br />

Total spending on healthcare benefits in 2005 was $436 million.<br />

Medical coverage amounts to approximately $655 a month, or $7,862 annually, in an average employee’s<br />

total compensation package. Results may vary depending on the type of coverage selected and the<br />

frequency of doctor visits.<br />

At <strong>Intel</strong>, all employees participate in the Employee Bonus and the Employee Cash Bonus, which include<br />

both financial and operational performance metrics. Because higher level employees have a larger scope<br />

and ability to impact the company’s performance, this bonus constitutes a more significant percentage<br />

of their total cash than for lower graded employees. In this way, we ensure that the risk/reward for these<br />

bonus programs is appropriate for the individual’s grade level.<br />
