Appendix A - Program Directory
Program 85: Baud Rate for serial data transmission (RS232/485)
The transmission speed with which your unit is communicating with the connected PC, can
be chosen in one of four rates. Enter , the current baud rate appears:
Host Bd-Rate
Akt1.2kBd
With you leave the program without change, with you go on in the selection:
9.6 4.8
2.4 1.2
Once the selection is completed the transmission speed starts straight away. Always
remember that the connected units (in a RS485-bus system) are set at the same transmission
speed and the master (so the PC, which has a control software installed) has to be set at the
same speed.
Behaviour after MAINS OFF:
This setting is not lost after mains off.
Program 86: Selection RS232 ↔ RS485
Two digital serial interface standards are possible with the control unit software, both are
done via the same plug connector (Plug Stv 12). It is possible to work with only one at any
one time. That is why program 86 offers the selection possibilities. This setting remains after
mains off.
Program 90: Language Selection
Program 90 offers the choice between German, English and French. A short reminder of this
program is displayed after mains switch on.
Program 93: Production number/serial number
(control panels from software version 3)
This is the serial number of the control panel.
Program 94: Control Panel Identification
(control panels from software version 3)
A marking, which indicates which printed circuit board is in the control panel.
Program 98: Version number
(Control panels from software version 2.4)
The version number of the software for the control panel appears in the first line. The
information about the controller software version is in the second line.
Program 106: Maximum Temperature Limit (for external Pt sensor control)
If the value set using this program is exceeded for more than 3 seconds an alarm is triggered.
A device message 73/x will be recorded (see Program 10). Note: The default setting for this
value is 320°C, a value that the external Pt100 sensor will never experience, whether it is
connected or not.
