Johnson Bros. is a heavy civil contractor with 80 years<br />

experience specializing in Bridge, Highway, Infrastructure,<br />

Marine, Industrial and Emergency construction services<br />

for both public and private clients. Our capabilities include<br />

Johnson Bros. constructs multi-phase projects utilizing the<br />

latest technology, best available equipment, experienced professional<br />

project management and field supervisory staff. Our<br />

team members include professional engineers who design construction<br />

systems required to construct complex structures in a<br />

safe and efficient manner. Every one of our projects is managed<br />

from the project site with a degreed engineer.<br />

Launching the Deck<br />

By being multi-disciplined, Johnson Bros. has a distinct<br />

lieu of using multiple sub-contractors, Johnson Bros. has the<br />

Johnson Bros. has extensive credentials and qualifications<br />

in roadway and bridge construction with many state<br />

DOT’S including the Louisiana and Florida Department of<br />

Transportation. Much of our DOT performed work includes<br />

Design-Build projects. In 2002, Johnson Bros. completed<br />

the first Design-Build road and bridge project administered<br />

by the FDOT in District One. The project was completed<br />

well ahead of schedule and received a regional award by the<br />

<strong>Association</strong> of General <strong>Contractors</strong> and a national award by<br />

the Design-Build Institute of America. In 2008, Johnson Bros.<br />

recently completed a Design-Build bridge deck replacement<br />

project for FDOT District Seven. Johnson Bros. earned the<br />

maximum bonus incentive for early completion and the project<br />

was nominated for “Florida’s Best in Construction” in the<br />
