It was a SUPER SUNDAY
On March 17, three hundred passionate volunteers from
South Palm Beach County’s Jewish community kept the
phones ringing throughout the area on behalf of those
who depend on the Jewish Federation of South Palm
Beach County. Coming together for the annual Super
Sunday phone-a-thon, they demonstrated once again
the power of volunteerism and tzedakah! Thanks to
their efforts, by day’s end more than 900 donors had
contributed $550,000 to the Federation’s 2013 Annual
Campaign for Jewish Needs.
All ages and all streams of our vibrant Jewish community
worked together to make sure that vital needs will be
met for their neighbors and extended Jewish family.
Volunteers also collected and packaged food donated
for clients of the Jacobson Family Food Pantry at JFS.
The day full of ruach and caring was co-chaired by Kathy
& Ken Green and Wendy & Elliot Koolik with a teen
initiative led by Alexa Green, Lindsey Koolik and Gabby
and Serena Deutch.
