Indefinite pronouns refer to things, people or places without mentioning what, who or where they are.<br />

•-ONEis also possible instead of -BODY: SOMEONE - ANYONE - EVERYONE<br />

SOMETHING, SOMEBODY and SOMEWHERE are used in affirmative sentences:<br />

There is something in my pocket<br />

I saw somebody in the corridor<br />

I have found somewhere to live<br />

ANYTHING, ANYBODY and ANYWHERE are used in questions and negative sentences:<br />

I don't know anybody<br />

I can't remember anything<br />

She hasn't anywhere to live<br />

EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY are usually used in affirmative sentences:<br />

Everybody came to the party<br />

I bought everything I needed for the party<br />

** EVERYWHERE is not a pronoun, it is an adverb:<br />

I never use my car. I go everywhere on foot<br />

NOTHING, NOBODY and NOWHERE are used in affirmative sentences but the meaning is negative:<br />

I want nothing from you<br />

I saw nobody in the street<br />

I have nowhere to go<br />
