Personal pronouns are used to substitute the noun, subject or object. Possessive adjectives are used to<br />

express possession, and possessive pronouns express possession as well but they are used without the<br />

noun. Study these examples:<br />

This is my guitar ↑ This guitar is mine<br />

These are my maracas ↑ These maracas are mine<br />
