PERSONAL<br />

Tim spends his offeason in Cambridge, Ontario… He is involved with Toronto’s<br />

SickKids Hospital as well as the Cambridge Pros Foundation… Tim started playing<br />

hockey when he was 4, and his first team was called the Hespeler Shamrocks… He<br />

says his parents were the biggest influences on his career, and his favorite players<br />

growing up were Steve Yzerman and Cam Neely… Tim was teammates with<br />

goaltender Justin Peters for two seasons with Toronto St. Michael’s of the Ontario<br />

Hockey League (OHL)… His favorite television show is dexter, favorite movie is<br />

Fletch and favorite book is The Tipping Point… The most-played band on his iPod<br />

is the Tragically Hip… Tim’s first job was mowing lawns… He is on Twitter and his<br />

username is @Brenter37… His favorite website is d-90.<strong>com</strong>… Tim enjoys fishing,<br />

hunting, golfing and playing the guitar… His favorite sport to watch is football, and<br />

favorite teams are the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cincinnati Bengals… The person<br />

he would most like to meet is Rachel Mcadams… His favorite spot in the Triangle<br />

is The Pit… Tim wears number 37 because it was assigned to him at training camp<br />

in Toronto and he had his best season… He says he is not superstitious and doesn’t<br />

have a specific gameday routine… His favorite thing about playing in the <strong>NHL</strong> is<br />

knowing it is the best league in the world… His favorite road city is Vancouver,<br />

favorite road arena is Bell Centre, and favorite team to play against is Montreal…<br />

Tim’s most memorable hockey moment was his first <strong>NHL</strong> game on 1/5/07.
