Signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the <strong>Hurricanes</strong> on 6/1/11, which includes a european<br />
assignment Clause, allowing him to be assigned to Skelleftea if he does not make <strong>Carolina</strong>’s <strong>NHL</strong><br />
roster after training camp… Had 16 goals and 14 assists (30 points) in 81 games in the Swedish Junior<br />
league entering <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong>… Had also skated in 18 regular-season Swedish elite League (SeL) games<br />
with Skelleftea, netting one goal… Was the 22nd-ranked european skater in the 2009 <strong>NHL</strong> entry draft<br />
according to Central Scouting, after being ranked 55th in the midterm rankings… Has represented<br />
Sweden in several international <strong>com</strong>petitions, including the 2008 ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament and<br />
