3.5.3 Cooling system<br />

3.5.4 Noise Levels<br />

The units shall be designed <strong>for</strong> water cooling <strong>of</strong> the condenser, lubrication<br />

oil system, etc. The cooling system <strong>for</strong> generator shall be closed cycle cooling<br />

water and air cooling system.<br />

The Noise level shall be as per Annexure-4.<br />

3.5.5 Vibration Severity<br />

Vibration severity <strong>of</strong> the units shall not exceed 8.0 mm/sec. In normal operation<br />

measured at any bearing pedestals both in vertical and horizontal<br />

plane.<br />

3.5.6 Critical Speed<br />

The Critical speed <strong>of</strong> the rotor assembly as a complete unit shall be at least<br />

20% above or below the operating speed range <strong>of</strong> the units.<br />

3.5.7 Spare Parts and consumables<br />

The Contractor shall submit a list & supply accordingly Essential spare<br />

parts with OEM part No. (as per Vol. 2, Schedule-F) to be necessary <strong>for</strong><br />

maintenance <strong>of</strong> Gas Turbine Generating <strong>Unit</strong>, Steam Turbine Generating<br />

unit, HRSG and other plant equipment inclusive <strong>of</strong> routine, scheduled as<br />

well as emergency use that takes place in the course <strong>of</strong> operation <strong>of</strong> the<br />

plant during warranty period (24 months) which are mandatory. It may be<br />

mentioned that <strong>Tender</strong>er must quote in Schedule-F in full quantity and also<br />

additional items & quantity necessary as stated in <strong>Tender</strong> <strong>Document</strong>, otherwise<br />

<strong>Tender</strong> shall be rejected. During the warranty period <strong>of</strong> 24 months,<br />

the Contractor shall supply all necessary equipment, spare parts, materials/consumables<br />

etc. at his own cost and whether it is listed or not in in<br />

Schedule-F, Vol. 2 <strong>of</strong> 2 Part B <strong>Tender</strong> <strong>Document</strong>s. In preparation <strong>of</strong> the list<br />

the tenderer have to consider plant factor as 80%. During the warranty period<br />

the Contractor have to conduct (providing all required spare parts and<br />

service) at least 1(One) CI <strong>for</strong> Gas Turbine and at least one Inspection <strong>for</strong><br />

other equipment and any other maintenance work <strong>for</strong> <strong>for</strong>ce outage. Spare<br />

parts & consumables to be supplied <strong>for</strong> warranty period under the Contract<br />

must be made available at site be<strong>for</strong>e start <strong>of</strong> testing.<br />

All spare parts shall be subject to the same specification, tests and conditions<br />

as similar material supplied under the inter-changeable and suitable<br />

<strong>for</strong> use in place <strong>of</strong> the corresponding parts supplied with the plant and must<br />

be suitably marked and number <strong>for</strong> identification and prepared <strong>for</strong> storage<br />

by greasing or painting to prevent deterioration.<br />

All spare parts shall be delivered in cases or containers suitable <strong>for</strong> storing<br />

such parts over a period <strong>of</strong> years without deterioration under the atmospheric<br />

conditions existing in Bangladesh. The cases shall remain the property<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Board.<br />

Each case or container shall be marked with the appropriate contract details<br />

and a list <strong>of</strong> the parts contained therein with identification references<br />
