<strong>Hillsborough</strong> County reported similar population growth to that in Florida, and both grew faster<br />
growth than the nation, during the period between 1990 and 2008. <strong>Hillsborough</strong> County’s<br />
population grew by 42 percent as well as that of the state. In addition, the Tampa Bay region also<br />
has a similarly aged population in comparison to the rest of the state. Tampa Bay region’s median<br />
2010 Master Plan 21
