The County Clare Wetlands Survey Patrick Crushell & Peter Foss 2008 _______________________________________________________________ Appendix 6: CWS habitat classification scheme used for wetlands Within the context of 2008 county Clare Wetlands Survey the following wetland habitat types as defined by the Guide to Habitats published by the Heritage Council (Fossitt 2000) were mapped and recorded when they occurred and could be identified within sites in the county (see Appendix 6a).
