Division<br />
The Agency Support Division focuses on activities<br />
essential to department operations by providing<br />
management services that promote government<br />
efficiency, contemporary research and planning,<br />
legal services, coordination <strong>of</strong> financial and human<br />
resource services, records and public records services,<br />
department training, grants administration,<br />
cost-effective facilities management and innovative<br />
logistical support. Customer service is paramount in<br />
the Division.<br />

Legal Services<br />
• Provides legal assistance to the <strong>Department</strong> and other law enforcement agencies regarding criminal<br />
and traffic laws, principles <strong>of</strong> search and seizure and a broad range <strong>of</strong> civil legal issues and department<br />
matters.<br />
• Publishes law bulletins on a variety <strong>of</strong> case law decisions affecting operational personnel and a legal<br />
review <strong>of</strong> all new legislative changes for employees each year.<br />
