The Strategic Interest Group in International Management covers ALL subfields of<br />

International Management (e.g., strategy and structure of multinational corporations; crossborder<br />

activities of firms; the international business environment). Accepted submissions to<br />

this general call for papers will be grouped into sessions of related papers. In addition to<br />

these competitive paper sessions of the general track for 2014, the SIG sponsors two related<br />

topics on (1) Expatriation and (2) Business in African. Furthermore, the SIG has accepted<br />

a DWG on self-initiated expatriation and a symposium on Cross-cultural management<br />

research. Papers in these areas are also particularly welcome.<br />
