The Strategic Interest Group in International Management covers ALL subfields of
International Management (e.g., strategy and structure of multinational corporations; crossborder
activities of firms; the international business environment). Accepted submissions to
this general call for papers will be grouped into sessions of related papers. In addition to
these competitive paper sessions of the general track for 2014, the SIG sponsors two related
topics on (1) Expatriation and (2) Business in African. Furthermore, the SIG has accepted
a DWG on self-initiated expatriation and a symposium on Cross-cultural management
research. Papers in these areas are also particularly welcome.
