1 Dr. Faiz Shah co-founded <strong>Responsible</strong> <strong>Business</strong> Initiative and presently heads Development<br />
Management at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. He has advised governments,<br />
companies, non-governmental organizations and UN programs on change management and<br />
institutional reorganization. On the visiting faculty at Punjab University, he has lectured at<br />
Michigan <strong>Business</strong> School and the Wharton School, trained over 3,000 grassroots government<br />
officials and community leaders in Cambodia, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Thailand, and<br />
overseen over 300 community service projects in diverse locations. He has led Saga, Pakistan’s<br />
largest sporting goods company and was among the first working groups members of the<br />
Global Reporting Initiative.<br />
2 Ms. Ambreen Waheed, founder and Executive Director of <strong>Responsible</strong> <strong>Business</strong> Initiative, is<br />
among the pioneers of CSR in Pakistan. She currently chairs SAARC Alliance <strong>for</strong> <strong>Responsible</strong><br />
<strong>Business</strong> and serves on the Stakeholder Council and Board Nominating Committee of the<br />
Global Reporting Initiative, the Board of Trustee of Asia Pacific Roundtable <strong>for</strong> Sustainable<br />
Consumption and Production, national Steering Board of the United Nations Global Compact,<br />
Member, governance structure AccountAbility‘s AA1000 SES, UNCTAD’s CSR Expert Panel<br />
and Review Committee on ISAR, the EFMD-UNGC Globally <strong>Responsible</strong> Leaders Initiative,<br />
the SECP’s task <strong>for</strong>ce on NGO Governance, the CSR expert panel <strong>for</strong> ICAP Corporate Governance<br />
and juries of the Asian Forum Corporate Social Responsibility Awards, AIM-Intel IACRA<br />
Awards. She has a masters’ degree in Computer Science from the University of Engineering<br />
and Technology, Lahore, a Master’s of Philosophy in Management from the University of<br />
Cambridge, UK and post-graduate academic experience at the Speed Scientific School, USA.<br />
She has taught at ESSEC-France, University of Michigan and the Wharton <strong>Business</strong> School at<br />
the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.<br />
3 Dr. Simon Zadek is an acknowledged global thought leaders in CSR. He is currently a Senior<br />
Fellow at the Center <strong>for</strong> Government and <strong>Business</strong>, the John F. Kennedy School of Government,<br />
Harvard University. He founded and was until recently, the Chief Executive of AccountAbility.<br />
He has authored numerous publications and sits on the boards of Instituto Ethos, Generation<br />
Investment Management, the International Center <strong>for</strong> Trade and Sustainable Development,<br />
the Council of GAN-NET and the founding Steering Committee of the Global Reporting<br />
Initiative. In 2003 he was named one of the World Economic Forum’s ‘Global Leaders <strong>for</strong><br />
Tomorrow’.<br />
4 Mr. Husain Dawood is among Pakistan’s leading businessmen, and is presently Chairman of<br />
Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, Karachi Education<br />
Initiative/Karachi School of <strong>Business</strong> and Leadership, and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation<br />
Fund, which is the largest World Bank financed social fund in the world. Mr. Dawood serves<br />
on the Boards of the Commonwealth <strong>Business</strong> Council, Pakistan <strong>Business</strong> Council, the Pakistan<br />
Center <strong>for</strong> Philanthropy, and Beaconhouse National University. He is on the Board of Trustees<br />
of Karachi Education Initiative, London, Asia House, London, Global Charter Member of The<br />
Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), and is the first Pakistani member of the World Economic Forum.<br />
As its Honorary Consul in Lahore, the Italian Government has conferred upon Mr. Dawood<br />
