JCC Novice Swim Meet
The Club would like to thank all participants and parents
for making the annual JCC Novice Swim Meet held on
Saturday 25 July another success. Congratulations to the
winners and to those who did not win medals this round,
try again for next year!
Squash Friendly With Warren
Our senior squash team
visited the Warren Golf And
Country Club in August for
a round of friendly matches.
Both sides put up eight
players each to compete in
this competition. Though
we were playing away, our
players fought hard as they
ran, puffed and tumbled
their way through these
gruelling matches against
our very tough host. Both
sides fought to a 4-4 draw,
with Warren complimenting
JCC’S oldest player, 69-year
old Chow Hoi Sung for his
sportsmanship.
The long and hard fought
matches were well appreciated by all the players as it provided excellent
workout for all the participants during the hot afternoon. Our host later treated
players to a sumptuous buffet and hopes were exchanged that when we invite
Warren to JCC for a return match, we will field a stronger team.

We’ve topped up the pond with more Patin fish, Catfish and Red Tilapia, so
ready your cast for the heaviest catch!
