IMPROVEMENTS<br />
Road Widening Works Along <strong>Jurong</strong><br />
Town Hall<br />
In line with the Government’s plan to transform <strong>Jurong</strong> into <strong>Jurong</strong> Lake District,<br />
the Land Transport Authority (LTA) has already commenced road-widening<br />
works along congested roads surrounding and leading to the <strong>Club</strong>, starting with<br />
current closures at <strong>Jurong</strong> East St. 12. More closures and re-routings can be<br />
expected as the LTA carries out its road works in phases from now till 2011.<br />
Changes can also be expected along <strong>Jurong</strong> Town Hall Road itself as LTA adds<br />
an extra lane each to both directions of the stretch of road from <strong>Jurong</strong> East<br />
Central to AYE.<br />
Though these works have minimal impact upon the <strong>Club</strong> itself, except for slight<br />
adjustments to the Blue Tee of Hole 4, we would like to caution members to be<br />
more careful as they drive to the <strong>Club</strong>.<br />
Repair Of Netting Following Storm<br />
High mast nettings damaged during stormy winds were repaired and reinforced<br />
with stronger footings to weigh them down for safety purposes and ensure<br />
longer lasting durability.<br />

& Sand Top<br />
Dressing<br />
The <strong>Club</strong> will be carrying out hollow<br />
tining and sand top dressing on the<br />
greens from Monday 31 August to<br />
Friday 4 <strong>Sep</strong>tember. There will be<br />
no night golf during this period, and<br />
golfers will have to play on temporary<br />
alternate greens.<br />
