This premium Chardonnay was sourced from the Lower Hunter<br />
Valley wine region. After vinification and settling the wine<br />
in stainless steel tanks in autumn, the wine was tasted. This<br />
Chardonnay has the classic characteristics of subtle peach, guava<br />
and a<br />
hint of floral notes. A small portion of Verdelo was added<br />
to provide the added texture and a savoury finishing of soft ripe<br />
fruit acids. This white wine would be complementary to Steamed,<br />
Baked Fish and Deep-fried Fish in light soya sauce, Hainanese<br />
Chicken Rice, Hokkien Mee and Cold Cuts. Besides, it is<br />
just as pleasurable on its own while snacking on a packet<br />
of Menglembu peanuts and watching your favourite TV<br />
programme.<br />
