goal of the SSC is to establish a permanent repository of genetic samples<br />
from 3000 families, each of which has one child affected with an <strong>Autism</strong><br />
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and parents unaffected with ASD.<br />
National Data Base<br />
NDAR (http://ndar.nih.gov) is a secure bioinformatics platform for<br />
<strong>Autism</strong> Spectrum Disorder investigators. Funded by the U.S. National<br />
Institutes of Health, NDAR facilitates data sharing and scientifi c<br />
collaboration; provides bioinformatics solutions to address research<br />
community needs; and enables the effective communication of detailed<br />
research data, tools and results to scientists.<br />
