Grace and Main Fellowship is a nontraditional Christian community located in Danville, Virginia, devoted
to discipleship and intentional service among the homeless, near homeless, poor, and addicted communities
downtown. By focusing locally and spending 100 percent of donations on direct service—with no funding going
toward overhead, buildings, or salaries—they are able to help dozens of local leaders undertake new and creative
ventures designed to advance the kingdom of God. Among their chief leaders are CBF field personnel Jessica and
Joshua Hearne. Pray that Grace and Main will continue to grow and flourish in its setting and that city leaders will

Tourism, fast pace, and cultural diversity describe the urban hub of South Florida. It is a place of contrasts where
wealthy high-rises compete with modest homes, and the expensive vehicles of the affluent share the road with the
common modes of transportation. Set against this background, CBF-endorsed chaplain Rick Ruano ministers among
all types of people through a ministry of listening and reconciliation with God at a crucial time in people’s lives.
Many come to this part of the country to retire and eventually must face the reality of death. Often these people have
distanced themselves from their faith and from God. As a hospice chaplain, Ruano walks with those individuals in
their journey back to God as they allow God’s love to penetrate the last days of their lives. Pray for those in hospice,
that they may experience peace, reconciliation, and love in their final days.
