therefore ask the Lord of the
harvest to send out laborers into
his harvest.’”
steadfast love and faithfulness, for
those who keep his covenant and
his decrees.”
Future of the Family Kindergarten in Skopje, Macedonia, serves the poorest Albanian and Roma families in
the community of Cair. These children are socially and economically disadvantaged and face insurmountable
educational challenges. But the kindergarten has become a place of hope for these families that desperately want
their children to succeed in public school and have a better life. Pray for CBF field personnel Alicia and Jeff Lee as
they expand the ministry to include education to children with special needs that are unfairly excluded from society.
Pray for them as they advocate on behalf of the children and families that struggle to meet their daily needs. To learn
Each July the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship provides a camp-style retreat for the teenage children of field personnel.
These “Third Culture Kids,” also known as TCKs or MKs, look forward to this time of fun and fellowship. When
they come together, they find that their lives are not odd and do not require explanation. They are family to one
another. Through the retreat CBF provides the TCKs with fun as well as a place to ask questions about faith and life.
The retreat is a safe place to play, cry, laugh, and dream. To cap off the week, campers go to Prom, which is the only
one many of the field personnel children will attend in their high school career. Pray that these TCKs grow in their
own faith and identity as they navigate being American by birth but citizens of the world.
