Give thanks to the LORD, call on
his name; make known his deeds
his name is exalted.”
—Isaiah 12:4
“And Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies
the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in
God my Savior, for he has looked
with favor on the lowliness of his
John and Nancy Wade Norwood planted Heights Church in January 2012 in the historic Heights neighborhood of
Houston, Texas. The Heights is a diverse urban neighborhood that is full of life, and Heights Church hopes to reflect
both the diversity and energy of its neighborhood. The mission of the church is to minister holistically to the people
of this community and to be faithful in proclaiming the gospel. Heights Church currently has 45 regular members,
most of whom have never been active in church before. Pray that Heights Church will be able to guide members to
Christian maturity and identify leaders and workers for the future of the church. Visit www.heightschurchhouston.org
