The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship supports more than 135 field personnel partnering in God’s mission and serving
in remote villages as well as large cities around the world. Across five continents, CBF personnel are constructing
wells for Ethiopian communities without clean water, partnering in recovery efforts for Japanese communities
devastated by tsunamis, serving the homeless population of North Carolina, and more. While some field personnel
generate their own funding, many rely completely on support from churches through the Offering for Global Missions
to sustain their work. The goal for the 2012–13 offering is $4.8 million. Pray that God will continue to work through
the generous gifts and compassion of CBF churches and bless their stewardship of resources. Pray that field personnel

In July young people attending Bible colleges across China will graduate and move on to places of service. Many will
go to areas which are unfamiliar to them yet have a great need for trained pastors. In Sichuan Province the regional
Bible college graduates around 30 students each year. A province of 100 million people with 300,000 Christians,
however, needs more ministers serving among the population. CBF field personnel Bill and Michelle Cayard work
with the registered church in China facilitating new churches and training pastors and lay leaders. Pray for the
young people who are graduating and moving on to a new phase of life. Pray for those who will leave their families
and friends to serve in areas of need. Ask God to give the Bible college teachers and administrators a vision for
increasing the number of pastors trained each year.
