226 Carrier frequency (kHz): 004-016<br />
Set this menu to a level from 4-16 kHz as required. (Default<br />
is 10 kHz).<br />
• To reduce noise due to long cable decrease carrier frequency.<br />
• To reduce motor audible noise increase carrier frequency.<br />
However the output current from the VSD will be derated<br />
according to the table on page 33.<br />
*NOTE: In situations where there is excessive audible<br />
noise from the motor or it is required to reduce electrical<br />
noise from the VSD caused by use of long cable then the<br />
carrier frequency can be adjusted as follows:<br />
