enabled on resumption of power and applying the run signal,<br />

according to setting of menu [213].<br />

The VSD will carry out an auto speed search, once the<br />

motor rotation speed is found then it will accelerate to the<br />

running speed it had before the power loss.<br />

units which can be controlled is 32). When the communication<br />

address =000, the VSD is controlled by communication<br />

regardless of the [261] setting.<br />

2. RS-232communication: (requires RS232 port)<br />

1 to 1 control: PC or PLC or controller controls one<br />

VSD ([261] is set to 001 to 254).<br />

NOTE: a. The Baud rate [262] and communication format<br />

([263]/[264]/[265]) of the PC (or PLC or other<br />

controller) and VSD should be the same.<br />

b. The VSD will validate the modified parameters after<br />

the parameters modified in the PC.<br />

c. Communication protocol: refer to EV communication<br />

protocol description.<br />

d. Parameter [261] to [265] can’t be changed via<br />

communication module<br />

266 Communication Time out detection time<br />

Time-out detection time: 00.0 to 25.5sec; setting 00.0 sec:<br />

disable time-out function.<br />

Default: 00.0 sec<br />

Communication time-out detection is independent of<br />

RUN/Frequency command.<br />

*Cannot be modified during communication.<br />

267 Communication Time out operation selection<br />

Time-out operation selection:<br />

000: Deceleration to stop ([332]: Deceleration time 1).<br />

001: Free run to stop.<br />

002: Deceleration to stop ([334]: Deceleration time 2).<br />

003: Continue operating.<br />

Default=000<br />

Reset method:<br />

a. Use the Reset key<br />

b. Receive correct data from the master.<br />

NOTE: After communication time-out the motor<br />

decelerates to stop ([267]=000,001,002). The motor will<br />

not start unless a new RUN command is given according<br />

to [213].<br />
