To Retire From RKO-SW
NEW YORK—Blanche Livingston, naional
director of advertising and publicity,
RKO-Stanle) Warner Theatres, is planning
to retire. She has been in her present post
or ihe pasi two years and. before that, held
lecond position in the department. Ms. Livingston
is arranging to leave the middle of
June. She joined RKO in 1952.
In 1975, Ms. Livingston was selected as
he first "Show-Woman of the Year" and
received her award at Show-A-Rama 18 in
Kansas City.
She has been active in industry drives,
was vice-president of AMPA. and is a member
of the Pioneers and the Cinema Lodge
of B'nai Brith.
EMI Film to Distribute
Cathay Product in UK
LONDON—EMI Film Distributors has
'signed a pact to distribute pictures of
.Cathay Productions in the United Kingdom,
.including both new product and the company's
library of 15 features and nine
shorts.
EMI also will distribute three pictures
shown at the Cannes Film Festival "Amsterdam
Kill." starring Robert Mitchum;
"Queen's Ransom," and "Double Crossers."
