County Development Plan 2009 – 2015
The Offaly County Development Plan 2009-2015 was formally made
on the 19 th January 2009 and came into effect 4 weeks later, on the
16 th February 2009. The County Manager is required to prepare a
report two years after the making of the Development Plan on the
progress achieved in securing the objectives of the Plan.
This report was prepared at the end of 2010 and was presented to
the members in January 2011 and concludes that a variation to the
comply with the provisions of the Planning and Development
(Amendment) Act 2010. This will entail the inclusion of a ‘Core
Strategy’
