Ted Stanley is in his first season with the <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> coaching<br />

staff. He joined the Wildcats in the spring of <strong>2012</strong> as the tight ends<br />

coach.<br />

Stanley joins <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> after spending the past nine seasons<br />

as the head football coach at Kenyon College, a Division III school<br />

in Gambier, Ohio. In 2005 he helped rebuild the Kenyon program<br />

and led the Lords to a 6-4 overall record an a second place fi nish<br />

in the North Coast Athletic Conference. He guided Kenyon to great<br />

success on the offensive side of the ball.<br />

Prior to his time at Kenyon, Stanley spent two seasons as the<br />

co-defensive coordinator at the <strong>University</strong> of Chicago. Prior to that<br />

he spent three seasons as the defensive line coach at Grinnell College,<br />

a Division III school in Grinnell, Iowa.<br />

Stanley served as the Director of Football Operations at the <strong>University</strong><br />

of Utah in 1996 and 1997, under head coach Ron McBride.<br />

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College in 1993<br />

and went on to receive a master’s degree in Sports Management<br />

from the <strong>University</strong> of Utah in 1996. He also spent time as an assistant<br />

coach at Allen Hancock Junior College where he coach wide<br />

receivers and was a graduate assistant at Utah.<br />

Stanley is a native of Salt Lake City and graduated from Skyline<br />

High School. His parents still live in Salt Lake.<br />

Craig Stutzmann joined the <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> staff in the spring of<br />

<strong>2012</strong> and coaches the wide receivers for the Wildcats.<br />

Before joining the Wildcat staff Stutzmann spent the 2011 season<br />

as an assistant coach at Rhodes College, a Division III school in<br />

Memphis. Prior to that he was a graduate assistant coach at the<br />

<strong>University</strong> of Memphis.<br />

Stutzmann has coaching experience in the Big Sky Conference<br />

as he spent the 2009 season as the wide receivers coach at Portland<br />

<strong>State</strong>. Prior to working with the Vikings he was a graduate<br />

assistant wide receivers coach in 2008 at his alma mater, the <strong>University</strong><br />

of Hawaii.<br />

Stutzmann played college football at Hawaii, where he played<br />

wide receiver from 1998-2001 under coach June Jones. He fi n-<br />

ished his career fi fth in school history in career receptions with 177<br />

catches for 2,025 yards and 18 touchdowns in 46 career games.<br />

He earned All-WAC honorable mention honors in 1999 and 2000.<br />

He was a team captain as a senior and graduated from Hawaii with<br />

a degree in Political Science in 2002.<br />

Following one season of playing for the BC Lions in the Canadian<br />

Football League (2002), Stutzmann became a teacher and football<br />

offensive coordinator at Kalaheo High School in Hawaii in 2003.<br />

He then moved to St. Louis High School in 2004 where he was<br />

the head junior varsity coach for four seasons. St. Louis won the<br />

Hawaii junior varsity state championships in 2006 and 2007.<br />

Stutzmann and his wife Briana have one son, Baylor, age 2.<br />
