2011 Big Sky Honorable Mention<br />
Brian returns for his senior season with the Wildcats this year. He will be one of<br />
four team captions for the Wildcats in <strong>2012</strong>. In three seasons at <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> he has appeared<br />
in 24 career games and has 18 receptions for 156 yards and one touchdown. Brian graduated in the spring of <strong>2012</strong><br />
with a degree in Psychology. He has earned Academic All-Conference honors three straight seasons. During the 2011-12<br />
season he was a practice player with the <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> men’s basketball team.<br />
2011 (Junior)<br />
Played in eight games and started in six games, while battling injuries during the season...Earned Honorable Mention All-Big<br />
Sky honors...Recorded six catches for 40 yards during the year...Had catches against Wyoming, Utah <strong>State</strong> and Southern<br />
Utah...Had three catches for 16 yards against Utah <strong>State</strong> and had two catches for 22 yards against the Thunderbirds, including<br />
a season-long 18-yard reception...Also recorded one tackle, coming against No. 2 Montana <strong>State</strong>...Earned Big Sky<br />
Academic All-Conference honors in Psychology for the third straight year.<br />
2010 (Sophomore)<br />
Played and started in all 11 games for the Wildcats during the season at the tight end position...Had 10 receptions for 89<br />
total receiving yards...Had a season-high of 17 yards on two receptions in WSU’s win at Northern Arizona on November<br />
13...Had one touchdown on the season, coming in WSU’s fi nal game of the year at Texas Tech...Earned Big Sky Academic<br />
All-Conference honors.<br />
2009 (Freshman)<br />
Played in fi ve games for the Wildcats in 2009...Had two receptions for 27<br />
yards...Had a 17-yard snag on the road vs. Portland <strong>State</strong> and a 10-yard grab<br />
on the road vs. Northern Colorado...Was named to the Big Sky Academic All-<br />
Conference team.<br />
2008<br />
Sat out the season as a red-shirt<br />
Skyline High School<br />
Played under Coach Dale Guilford and Scott Berger at Skyline...Named First<br />
Team All-Conference and All-District his senior season...Earned First Team<br />
Academic All-Conference honors as well.<br />
Personal<br />
Full name is Brian Jankowski...Was born on December 30, 1988...Graduated<br />
in April <strong>2012</strong> with a degree in Psychology from <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong>.<br />
