Earned First Team All-District honors as a wide receiver...Had 61<br />
receptions for 900 yards and 15 touchdowns...Also played three<br />
years of basketball and track and fi eld at Dayton High.<br />

Name is pronounced: Jamal...Is one of three players on the team<br />
from Texas.<br />

Graduated from Jordan High School in <strong>2012</strong> where he played for<br />
coach Eric Kjar...Was selected to play in the 5A All-Star Game.<br />

Was born Sept. 26,1993 in Salt Lake City...Parents are Randall<br />
Gaston and Lisa Dahl.<br />

Junior<br />
Tooele, UT<br />

Trifon returns for his junior season at the safety position with the<br />
Wildcats. In two years he has appeared in four games for WSU.<br />
2011 (Sophomore)<br />
Saw action in three games for the Wildcats during the season...<br />
Played against Sacramento <strong>State</strong>, Idaho <strong>State</strong> and Southern Utah,<br />
all home games...Recorded one tackle in the home opening win<br />
over the Hornets on Sept. 17.<br />
2010 (Freshman)<br />
Transferred to <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> from Utah <strong>State</strong> at the 2010 spring<br />
semester break...Appeared in just one game for the ‘Cats, seeing<br />
action in WSU’s Homecoming win over UC Davis on Sept. 25.<br />
2009 (Utah <strong>State</strong>)<br />
Red-shirted the 2009 season at Utah <strong>State</strong> under coach Brent<br />
Guy where he was the Defensive Scout Player of the Year.<br />
Tooele High School<br />
Played under Coach Sam Elliott at Tooele High where he was a<br />
teammate with WSU receiver Jordan Clemente...Was a three-year<br />
starter for the Buffaloes...Earned Second Team All-<strong>State</strong> Class 3A<br />
honors in 2007.<br />
