Robbie returns as a junior for the Wildcats this season. In his<br />
two seasons with the Wildcats he has played in 16 games and has<br />
recorded 23 total tackles.<br />
2011 (Sophomore)<br />
Battled injuries throughout the season but was able to play in<br />
fi ve games at cornerback during the season...Totaled 17 tackles<br />
with 10 unassisted and seven assisted tackles...First action came<br />
in WSU’s Homecoming win over Idaho <strong>State</strong> Oct. 15 where he had<br />
a season-high eight tackles...Also played in the fi nal four games of<br />
the season...Had six tackles with fi ve unassisted tackles in the fi nal<br />
home game of the season against Northern Arizona...Also had a<br />
fumble recovery against NAU.<br />
CORDERO DIXON<br />

Freshman<br />
Gainesville, FL<br />

Cordero joins <strong>Weber</strong> <strong>State</strong> as a freshman cornerback from<br />
Gainesville, Florida. Signed with the Wildcats in the spring. Is one<br />
of fi ve Wildcats on the team from Florida, all new freshmen.<br />
Gainesville High School<br />
Played for coach James Thompson at Gainesville High...Earned<br />
All-Area honors and participated in the Florida-Georgia All-Star<br />
game where he was named the Team MVP...Had four interceptions,<br />
56 tackles, nine pass breakups and two defensive touchdowns...<br />
Also rushed for 232 yards and had 210 receiving yards...Also competed<br />
on the track and fi eld team in the 100 meters, 4X100 meter<br />
relay and in the triple jump...Has a 37” vertical leap.<br />
2010 (Freshman)<br />
Appeared in all 11 games as a red-shirt freshman and started<br />
one game for the ‘Cats...Recorded six total tackles during the season<br />
with three assisted and three unassisted...Had a season-high<br />
two tackles in a win at Northern Arizona...Also had one fumble recovery,<br />
coming in WSU’s fi rst game of the season Sept. 4 at Boston<br />
College.<br />
2009<br />
Sat out the 2009 season as a red-shirt after signing with the Wildcats<br />
in February 2009.<br />
Putnam High School<br />
Starred at Putnam High School in Oklahoma City under Coach<br />
Mark Little and John Wofford...Was a high school rival of current<br />
WSU teammate, Josh Booker,<br />
who attended Putnam North...<br />
Was the Putnam team captain<br />
and MVP in 2008...Had 96<br />
tackles and two interceptions<br />
as a defensive back and 13<br />
catches for 187 yards and two<br />
touchdowns as a receiver...<br />
Earned an invitation to play in<br />
the Jim Thorpe All-Star game.<br />
